Gloss Versus Matte Finish
Many customers ask what is the difference between a gloss and a matte finish. Both are manufactured using the same process. The gloss or matte finish is created during the finishing of the vanity top.
Gloss Finish:
High Sheen shiny finish, most similar to true stone. Our tops come off of the mold in a gloss finish, and get touched up using a buffer and buffing compound. This is the standard finish for our vanity tops.
Matte finish:
Honed or Satin look, created by using industry specific sanding paper. This is similar to how solid surface tops are finished. Helps you to achieve that look at a fraction of the cost.
